Sound familiar?

You know AI matters.
You don’t know what to bet on.

Which AI is worth building?

There is a new model and a new tool every week. You need someone to say what will move your business, and what to ignore.

What will it cost to run?

Model, voice and hosting bills grow with every customer. You want the cost per customer worked out before you build, not after.

Who builds it, and who owns it?

No time to learn it all, and a freelancer lottery feels risky. You want one accountable person, and the product, data and code in your name.

How it works

We make the AI calls with you.
Then we build it.

We work in two-week sprints, with standups twice a week and a working demo at the end of each. At the end of every sprint you choose to continue or stop.

Before you start · Free AI Snapshot

Talk it through first.

A 30-minute call on where AI fits, and a written one-pager on what to build first.

  • What to automate first, and what to leave alone
  • Model and vendor choices, with what it costs to run
  • Whether a workshop, the cohort or Fractional CAIO fits you best

Weeks 1–2

Decide, then build the first version

We pick the one task worth automating, choose models and vendors, and work out what it costs to run. Your repo is set up and the first version runs on your own data.

Week 2: a written plan, with what to build and its cost per customer.

Works with Anthropic, Claude, Google Gemini, Hugging Face, Mistral AI, Ollama, LangChain, Perplexity, Replicate, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, DeepSeek, Vercel, Supabase, Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Stripe, Razorpay, Resend, Notion, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, Figma, HubSpot, Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Calendar, Calendly, Cal.com, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Cloudflare, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, MongoDB, Prisma, Drizzle, Firebase, PostHog, Sentry, Datadog, Mixpanel, Intercom, Zendesk, MailChimp, Clerk, Auth0, Retool, Expo, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, Python, FastAPI, Django, Node.js, Bun, Deno, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI, Storybook, Vitest, Jest, pnpm, npm, Git, Jira, Confluence, Asana, ClickUp, Trello, Miro, Loom, Zoom, Google Meet, Dropbox, Box, QuickBooks, Xero, PayPal, Square, Wise, LiveKit, Qdrant, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Neon, PlanetScale, Turso, Upstash, Netlify, Render, Railway, Vite, Astro, Svelte, Vue.js, Angular, GraphQL, Apollo GraphQL, tRPC, Zod, Pusher, Algolia, Meilisearch, Brevo, Cloudinary, Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, Hasura, Appwrite, PocketBase, Modal, OpenRouter, Turborepo, Elementor, OpenTelemetry, Markdown.

Who you’ll work with

The person you talk to is the person building it.

Questions

Things people ask first.

How do we start?

Start with a free AI Snapshot: a 30-minute call on where AI fits, and a written one-pager on what to build first. If it is a fit, the first sprint starts the next week.

What does it cost?

The AI Snapshot is free. After that, $1,000 a 2-week sprint: your own repo, set up and deployed with you, standups twice a week and priority support. Stop after any sprint. Teams are quoted per app or workstream, from $1,000 a sprint. If you took the guided cohort, pay the difference.

What is a fractional Chief AI Officer?

A senior person who owns your AI decisions part-time: what to automate, which models and vendors to use, what it will cost per customer, and what could go wrong. Ours also builds what we recommend and keeps it running, so you get an AI team without hiring one.

How is this different from a fractional CTO or an agency?

A fractional CTO usually advises and leaves the building to you. An agency builds what you ask for. We do both for AI: we help decide what is worth building, then build it, with one person accountable from the first decision to launch and a few senior friends building alongside.

Do I need a technical background?

No. You bring the idea and the customer knowledge. We make the AI and technical decisions with you, explain them in plain language, and show you a working demo every Friday.

What do I get after a few sprints?

One AI workflow, such as answering calls, sorting email or summarising meetings, plus a simple web app your users can sign in to. We host and run it while we build, and you can move it to your own accounts whenever you like.

How much of my time does it take?

About two to three hours a week: a Monday planning call, a Friday demo, and quick answers in between.

Who actually builds it?

A small senior team. One lead runs your project from start to finish and is your single point of contact; a few specialists we have shipped with before join when the work needs them. They are paid by us and under the same NDA.

Who owns the product and the code?

You do. Your product, your data and your code are yours. We host it on our accounts while we build and run it, and you can move it to your own accounts anytime; we help with the move.

What happens after launch?

Keep going sprint by sprint for new workflows and improvements, hand the project to your own team, or stop. The repository is yours either way.

When are you not the right partner?

If you need a regulated product, such as medical or financial, on day one, a team of ten next month, or a pitch deck rather than software. Once compliance is in place, we can help with regulated products.

Tell us the task.
We will tell you what week one looks like.

A few lines about the idea is plenty. No pitch deck needed, and if we are not the right fit, we will say so.
