Your AI app, built with you.
Everything in the guided cohort, plus your own repo, set up and deployed with you, standups twice a week and priority support. $1,000 a 2-week sprint; stop after any sprint.
Rather build it yourself? See the guided cohort, $500 for 4 weeks
Saturdays, 12–2 pm ET · Sat 14 Nov – Sat 5 Dec · $1,000 a 2-week sprint
Who it's for
For people who want the app without the guesswork.
Any role, one task that eats your week
Ops, marketing, sales, finance, HR, project or product management, or something at home. Bring the task; in the first session we cut it to one app you can finish in four weeks.
Already uses ChatGPT or Claude
You ask AI for help every day, but it's still copy-paste. You want an app that does the task for you.
Built with you, not for you
We set up your repo and deploy it with you. Two standups a week keep it moving, and priority support unblocks you between them.
How it runs
The cohort, plus two standups a week.
Every Saturday, 12–2 pm ET (9–11 am PT): two 45-minute sittings with a 30-minute break. On other days you build, and we work async in a private Slack channel, so it fits around your job.
Every week
Learn it Saturday. Build it all week.
Each week ends with a milestone you demo, so you never fall behind quietly.
- Twice a week: a short 1:1 standup on your app: what changed, what is stuck, what is next.
- Saturday, 12–2 pm ET: sitting one is demos and the week's idea, built live. Then a 30-minute break. Sitting two is a build-along to start your milestone.
- Monday: the week's brief in Slack, with notes and a short drill in the cohort app.
- Every weekday: a daily check-in thread (done, stuck, next), and answers in Slack within 24 hours.
- Mid-week: a recorded review of your build, with what to fix next.
- Recorded: every session, in case you miss one.

Questions
Things people ask first.
How does admission work?
Apply in about ten minutes. We read every application ourselves and reply within 2 hours. Apply by Tue 10 Nov; if you're accepted you get a link to secure your seat, and you pay by Fri 13 Nov, 11:59 pm ET.
How is this different from the guided cohort?
You get everything in the cohort, plus your own GitHub repo set up and deployed with you, 1:1 standups twice a week and priority support. If you already paid for the cohort or a workshop, you pay only the difference.
How does billing work?
$1,000 a 2-week sprint, paid upfront. The first sprint is paid by card on h1902y.com; later sprints are invoiced by email. Stop after any sprint and you owe nothing more.
When does it start, and is there a later batch?
The first batch starts Sat 14 Nov and runs four weeks. A new batch starts every 4 weeks after that, so if you miss this one, apply for the next.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You build with an AI coding tool, such as Claude Code or Cursor, that writes the code. We show you how, step by step, and help in Slack every weekday.
What kind of app will I build?
Your own app: one user, one job, one AI workflow. For example, an app that turns 40 support tickets into the Monday summary for your manager, or one that reads receipts into a budget sheet.
What will it cost beyond the seat?
Vendor free tiers cover the build. Budget about $10 of OpenRouter credit.
How much time does it take?
Two hours live on Saturday, plus about 5–6 hours of async building in the week. Every session is recorded, and you can ask in Slack any day.
Can my employer pay?
Yes. We send an invoice and a receipt on request, so you can claim it from a learning budget.
Who owns what I build?
You do. Everything runs on your own accounts from day one.
What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded, the notes and drills are in the cohort app, and you can post your milestone demo in Slack.
Is there a session on Thanksgiving weekend?
Yes. Sat Nov 28 (Thanksgiving weekend) runs as usual and is recorded, with an extra live Q&A on Mon Nov 30.
What's the refund policy?
The current sprint is refunded for the weeks not yet started, less a $50 admin fee. Stopping cancels the next sprint. Email support@h1902y.com.
Is there an age limit?
You must be 18 or older to apply. We ask for your date of birth on the form and keep nothing if you're under 18.
