Build an AI project portfolio in four weeks.
A live cohort for students aged 18 and over. Build a deployed full-stack AI project you can show to employers and admissions, with Vercel, Supabase and model APIs.
Sundays, 12–2 pm ET · Sun 15 Nov – Sun 6 Dec · $300 founding price
Who it's for
For students who'd rather build than just study.
18 or older
Every applicant must be 18 or older. We ask for your date of birth and keep nothing if you're under 18.
Wants a real project
One user, one job, one AI workflow. In the first session we cut it to what ships in four weeks.
Learning with AI tools
If you've made anything with Cursor, Claude Code or similar, you're ready. No CS degree needed.
How it runs
One live session a week. Help every weekday.
Every Sunday, 12–2 pm ET (9–11 am PT): two 45-minute sittings with a 30-minute break. On other days you build, and we work async in a private Slack channel, so it fits around classes.
Every week
Learn it Sunday. Build it all week.
Each week ends with a milestone you demo, so you never fall behind quietly.
- Sunday, 12–2 pm ET: sitting one is demos and the week's idea, built live. Then a 30-minute break. Sitting two is a build-along to start your milestone.
- Monday: the week's brief in Slack, with notes and a short drill in the cohort app.
- Every weekday: a daily check-in thread (shipped, stuck, next), and answers in Slack within 24 hours.
- Mid-week: a recorded review of your build, with what to fix next.
- Recorded: every session, in case you miss one.

Questions
Things people ask first.
How does admission work?
Apply in about ten minutes. We read every application ourselves and reply within 2 hours. Apply by Tue 10 Nov; if you're accepted you get a link to secure your seat, and you pay by Fri 13 Nov, 11:59 pm ET.
When does it start, and is there a later batch?
The first batch starts Sun 15 Nov and runs four weeks. A new batch starts every 4 weeks after that, so if you miss this one, apply for the next.
Do I need to be a developer?
No, but you'll write and ship code with an AI coding tool. If you've built anything with Cursor, Claude Code or similar, you're ready.
What will it cost beyond the seat?
Vendor free tiers cover the build. Budget about $10 of OpenRouter credit.
How much time does it take?
Two hours live on Sunday, plus about 5–6 hours of async building in the week. Every session is recorded, and you can ask in Slack any day.
Why $300?
It's the founding price; the list price is $500.
Who owns what I build?
You do. Everything runs on your own accounts from day one.
What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded, the notes and drills are in the cohort app, and you can post your milestone demo in Slack.
What's the refund guarantee?
A full refund until the end of the first session. Email support@h1902y.com and it's done, no questions.
Is there an age limit?
You must be 18 or older to apply. We ask for your date of birth on the form and keep nothing if you're under 18.
